We live in interesting times.

So there is a supposed Chinese proverb/phrase:

May you live in interesting times

It’s supposed to be ironic and make you realize that you really want to live in boring times where nothing exciting happens because exciting is usually bad.

But…

We’re actually, as technical people, living in REALLY interesting times. So I thought I’d make it doubly ironic!
